Personal accounts of staff living and working through the Covid-19 pandemic at Poole Hospital NHS Foundation.

When people ask me what the most important aspect of the care delivered in hospital, most people would say the patients. I would say the staff. If you have a broad variety of staff working happily and with their voices heard, they will always delivery high quality care and patient outcomes are much improved.

The aim of this piece of work was to listen to as wide a variety of staff as possible irrespective of their role or grade or rank within the organisation – to hear their voices and help them to feel valued.

We wanted to see what mattered to them and hear their concerns about Covid-19 and the emerging pandemic. Following the interviews we wanted to publish and share these stories to inspire others.

We chose Twitter as the best platform to share these stories and were keen to do this in real-time during the height of the pandemic.
